Will of Iron Podcast
Where there's a will, there's a way.
In the Will of Iron Podcast, the founders of the Will of Iron Golf Foundation, Jeff and Xiomara Spadafora, chat with the beneficiaries of their organization. Since 2020, they have been empowering disabled and PTSD-diagnosed Military Veterans and their children to improve their mental health through the beautiful game of golf on Florida's First Coast, by providing golf equipment and private lessons.
This podcast intends to provide a space for our nation's warriors and their spouses to discuss their mental health struggles as individuals and as a family. Becoming civilians is the last and, many times, the most harrowing mission for disabled and PTSD-diagnosed servicemen and women. The 3 Amigos: Rafael Suarez, Juan Travieso, and Joel Reynoso; U.S. Army, Navy, & Air Force Veterans
In Episode #3 we welcome Rafael Suarez, Juan Travieso, and Joel Reynoso, all beneficiaries of the Will of Iron Golf Foundation. The kindest sons of Puerto Rico served honorably and courageously in the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force, respectively, for over twenty years and crossed paths after retirement during our golf outings. Rafy, Juan, and Joel received golf clubs and lessons from the foundation and have been playing golf almost weekly for over three years. "The Three Amigos" have forged a wonderful friendship, giving life to the power of golf as an empirical therapeutic for disabilities and PTSD after the military.
Thank you for listening. Together, we can change the tune of the conversation about PTSD and the mental health of Military Veterans.
Please support our mission of empowering disabled and PTSD-diagnosed Military Veterans and their children through the beautiful game of golf.
